I am a retired secondary
school teacher with an unhealthy fascination for technology. I love
music, reading, computers, the Internet, hand-held computer games,
building dolls' houses, travelling on trains and model trains. I
suppose above all I love to travel. It isn't the arriving, somehow.
It's the process of getting there which excites me most.
I am a regular user of Aloe Vera products, the use of which I truly
believe makes me feel better. I live in Milton Keynes in the UK.
My life lately has been turned around by working out how to lose
a lot of weight and to come to terms with loving myself. So, like
any convert (you know what ex-smokers are like) I want to share
what I have learned with others.
I love learning and am never happier than when I am studying something
new to me. Currently it is how to market on the Internet and learning
to speak Latin American Spanish in preparation for a holiday there
in 2010. I know that learning is good for people; it must be because
it makes me feel so good (not saintly - just 'good').
I have every intention of living to a very great age and want to
connect with others who feel that way. In my dealings with others
in life and in business I believe that honesty and openness are
very important. I will offer no product, physical or informational,
in any business I am involved in, for money or for free, which I
do not feel is ethical.
I am a feminist who loves people, and I want to free up others to
share the pleasure I experience in trying to make sense of the world
around me. I enjoy the company and friendship of people of all ages
and hope that those who come to this site will be of all ages and
backgrounds.
I will not participate in threatening marketing practices, nor will
I bully or badger people to buy anything. I am happy to enter into
discussion with any of you who would like to join me, and will partake
in my own blog.
I will seek out news from around the world that celebrates the
successes of others, particularly those who are ageing with enthusiasm
and energy.
